PREGNANCY SUPPORT

Upon hiring me as your birth doula,
you will have immediate full access to me by phone/text/email, as well as access to my abundant community resources.

We will have three scheduled in-person visits during your pregnancy. The initial meeting is when we will go over new client intake paperwork, followed by and two - third trimester home visits (around 31-33 weeks of pregnancy and 35-36 weeks of pregnancy).

During those visits, we will discuss your fears, wishes and preferences surrounding the remainder of your pregnancy as well as your upcoming labor and birth. I will also collect information from you regarding any past pregnancies, and go over relaxation, breathing and distraction techniques. We will also create your birth goal preferences together. Feeding goals will also be discussed.

LABOR & BIRTH SUPPORT

Starting at 36 weeks, I offer 24/7 on-call support to ensure you feel fully supported as your due date approaches. We'll stay in regular contact to check in on how you're feeling—physically, emotionally, and mentally—so you’re never navigating this final stretch alone.

Whether you're planning to give birth at home, a birth center, or in a hospital, we’ll stay in close communication as early labor begins. Together, we’ll regularly assess how you're feeling—both physically and emotionally—and decide the right time for me to join you at home. This could be during early labor or as you transition into active labor, depending on your unique needs.

After your baby is born, I will stay and support you, your birth partner and your new baby continuously until you feel settled, including providing assistance with baby’s first feeding.

POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

Once you are home and settled with your new baby, I will come for one postpartum visit
(between days 5-7).

During that visit, we will go over your labor & birth experience. We will also discuss newborn care, and any feeding concerns you may be having.

Resources for any postpartum concerns will be shared with you upon request.

I will continue to provide support by phone/email/text through six weeks postpartum.
